Invention and Industry

The exhibits of Carillon Historical Park celebrate our invention, innovation and industrial history. Deeds Barn and Wright Cycle Shop replicate the Dayton buildings where two important inventions, the automobile self-starter and the airplane, were developed. The Miami Valley’s printing history is recalled in the 1930’s Print Shop.

Inventions like the cash register, innovations like the Miami Conservancy District for flood control, and industries like Huffy Corporation are represented throughout the Park.
