World War II Codebreaking Authority to Speak at Carillon Historical Park

DAYTON, OH – The Dayton Codebreakers Project is pleased to announce that Tony Sale, authority on British codebreaking during World War II and the leader of the "Colossus Rebuild Project," will make a special presentation at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, at Carillon Historical Park. His presentation, "England and the US: Partners in WWII Codebreaking," is in conjunction with the premiere of a new video documentary about the little-known role of NCR in WWII codebreaking.

Sale’s knowledge of Colossus, a computing machine used by Hitler, and his understanding of other WWII codebreaking activities has given him a well-deserved, worldwide reputation. For more information on Colossus and Sale’s other codebreaking projects, visit www.codesandciphers.org.uk.
